ok girls,,,,, just quickly, you all know me by now, the temple pressure person.....ok, here's the thing...they don't think it's a brain tumor...THANK GOD....they don't think it's Giant Cell whatever....ok, fine......but, neither does he think it's a sinus INFECTION...now, maybe he's right..BUT, I don't "feel" so. What I mean is...I feel like I do have one. It is always there, that darn feeling of head pressure, on the top LEFT side of my head (well, what i mean by ALWAYS .... is "most of the time", ther are times it's not there), but the temple pressure is there enough, and that squeezing,,,,but at least the last few days, that temple press. and squeezing have been a lot better!

ok, so what I wanted to ask you guys was.....I'd like to get as many opinions here as possible, as far as sinus "stuff", or sinus INFECTION? can yoiu guys please tell me YOUR experiences? I've read the forum about the headaches....I did glean a lot of info..but I'd like to know how many people here were TOLD BY THEIR DR. they didn't have a sinus infection, like I was....and then found out either by seeing anohter dr....or perhaps deciding to take a round of antibiotics themselves (which I feel like doing at this point) were able to "cure" or releive this lousy pressure, and so, must have cleared up a sinus INFECTION. I KNOW there are people who have had sinus INFECTIONS and were told they didn't have it.........that's the thing..I need your info. and knowledge!
I feel, like this is an infection. I have no drainage, he looked in my eyes and my ears....and said right away, i didn't have one......but to me, I do. Remember, he was wrong about the Giant Cell thingy too, so this is not to "bash" him,,,,I am just pointing out something, that's all.

i forgot to add one more thing .... as of a few days ago, the roof of my mouth on the LEFT side, the prob. side....feels pressure too now.....so if I press up against there, say with my tongue, or finger, it sort of releives the press. I feel up in my face, and in my head on the left side....I don't know if that means a darn thing.

also, another "by the way",,,,my oldst son stopped in today on his way to work,,asking if I had any advil for his "headache"...guess what? he began to describe to me the same thing I"ve been dealing with for 6 weeks now! HOLY COW! yep....left temple pressure, bad sinus pressure/pain on the left forehead area, and some ujp on the top of his head, on the left side....but also shifting to the right side....also, he feels he has scalp soreness, which I have on and off too.

I've had sinus infections before (some real doozies) and I didn't have pain in my temples. I had a lot of pain and pressure in my cheek bones and above my eyes and my ears felt blocked like they do when I am in an airplane. I don't know if you have already had a sinus x-ray done, but that would certainly tell if there was an infection in your sinuses. Has your doctor done a sinus x-ray? It's a fast and simple procedure.

I hope the pressure subsides for you. It must be very scary. Take care of you, ok.
