Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anyone else gets this. If I am say sitting in the car and the sun is shining in on me within minutes my heart will take off to 140 BPM. I can be just sitting at my computer and the sun will start to set and shine in the back windows and that's it.

I today I was standing at the stove and the sun was shining in while I was cooking and my heart rate shot up to 126.

Does anyone get this and if so, how do you get your HR down?

Thanks smile.gif

Hi Shaker~

I started getting this last year. If I get too hot I will get tachycardia (heart rate of 100bpm or higher). I don't have MVP, however; when I was put on the event monitor they found I had sinus tachycardia. I used to totally panic which did anything but help it. Now, I just sit down, breathe slowly and deeply, and it will go back to normal. I'm sure many women get this, they just don't know what exactly it is.

It's annoying, however; it's not harmful in any way.

Hang-in-there....with the rest of us smile.gif

Thanks for the reply! God I hate this. DO you know why it happens? I mean I am a sunlover andnow heat makes my heart race? Does this ever stop or will I be like this forever?

This is just a horrble time for women. UGH

Keep your eye on the weather and particular for the words 'SOLAR FLASHES' because every now and then the sun is releasing bursts of energy which in turn affect the planet and in turn affects us - particularly women. Everything is connected right from the centre of the galaxy down to our DNA and that's why we women are suffering so many peculiar menopausal symptoms. Read the following and see if it makes sense to you and whether you see yourself as part of this Galactic chain of events.

SACRED CIRCUIT
The Sacred Circuit maps our direct connection to the cosmos, based upon the ancient adage "as above, so below", stating that WHATEVER CHANGES occur at the macrocosmic level (Galactic Core), affect everything at the microcosmic level. Our DNA attunes to our CELLS, which attune to our BRAIN, which attunes to our HEART, which attunes to the EARTH, which attunes to the SUN, which along with all the other stars in the Galaxy attune to the GALACTIC CORE. So whatever CHANGES occur at the GALACTIC CORE affect EVERYTHING in the Galaxy right the way down to our DNA.

Eveything is connected through this Sacred Circuit by staying in RESONANCE with the cosmic rhythmic pulsations which cause the SPINNING of the stars and planets and even the BEATING of our HEART. The possible origin of these rhythmic pulsations are revealed within the Galactic Core.

Well, it makes perfect sense to me - and have you noticed the the word HEART can change to EARTH by moving the H in heart to the end of the word.

Wow, interesting stuff. I must be plugged into every galactic change in our galaxy AND the milky way cause my heart just races and pounds away for no apparent reason. I hope we don't have a supernova in a neighboring galaxy any time soon ohmy.gif

Yes, heat gives me tachycardia and will give me the sensation of "pounding". This is one of the reasons why I hate heat so much.

I get this too, which is one reason I hate summer so much....also I find that I sometimes get tachy after a meal...that makes me not even want to eat...seems like any little thing will have my heart rate all over the place...

Hi,

Since I entered peri/meno I cannot stand the heat and the sun anymore.
When I am in hot rooms without fresh air I get sick and I will have to leave.
My eyes cannot stand the bright sunlight anymore and when I am driving in my car I get dazzled by the reflection of the sunlight on other vehicles. I have to wear sunglasses most of the time!

I have MVP, and I also visit an MVP message board. It's really interesting how the symptoms of MVP and perimemenopause overlap - I hear people complaining about many of the same symptoms, only the meds and treatments are different! I don't know how much of my complaints are MVP and how many are perimenopause.

Hey all!
I just found this because I was searching the site for "heat" because I have been really sensitive to heat ever since this perimeno started for me 2 1/2 years ago! I get all panicky if I'm in a warm room or the car and feel like there will be no relief from it! Then I get like I can't breathe! Scary. I try to slow my breathing and calm down but it's just so uncomfortable. So unless I'm near a nice cool body of water in the summer I'm indoors in the air conditioning! I never really tolerated the heat well in my younger years anyway and now it's just really bad. Of course I am married to a man who loves it hot! The hotter and more humid for him the better. I'm so on the opposite end of that it's not even funny! *sigh* I'm envying all you gals up in the northern states and Canada!

Anyway, as usual this site has made me feel less alone in all of this as I can see a lot of ladies out there cannot tolerate the heat as well. Thanks ladies!
