hi ladies,

ok, my husband and I got back from the dr.s a while ago, he said my blood test was negative, and that I don't have that Giant Cell thingy! Thank God! While I was there, I saw the optometrist at my dr.'s request, to see if maybe it was my eyes...well, he did a complete eye exam, everyting from a-z...all he could tell me, was that I was slightly nearsighted, and that there didn't appear to be anything indicating either Giant Cell something or other....or a brain tumor..(well you know I had to ask him that one!lol)
I had then suggested to my dr. that this could be an allergy, or homrones...to which he basically "sort of" agreed, we talked for a little while, and he suggested maybe a CT scan, just to be postively sure about anything else! I then asked him, if this was because he was thinking maybe a brain tumor.....he said, he didn't think I had one....but JUST TO BE SURE kind of thing, ... well, that got me slightly nervous, so I asked him again, when we left....and again, (which was good), he just smiled and said "no, I don't think you have a brain tumor"...so, ok, that was good.

So, he didnt schedule me for any Ct scan...when I was done seeing the optometrist, I went to the receptionist and explained that my dr. said he might want me to have a CT scan and I think i was supposed to see him again before I left...well, he was with another patient, and would be a while, so, she said she'd leave a note on his desk, and if he thought i should do it, then theyd call me....so, I guess that doesn't sound like he's to concerned, does it?

The only thing is, I STILL HAVE THIS DARN PRESSURE ON THE LEFT TEMPLE....and as of a few days ago, it is trying to start up on the right. It's not all the time, but when it happens, it hurts. Sometimes, I can feel the pressure kind of always there, which is a real pain in the neck, other times, it comes and goes. I live in Florida, the allergy capital of the world...I thought to myself, this could be an allergic reaction to something....I looked that up, and i DID find that other people on other health forums have the same thing, and discuss topics such as allergies, hormones, TMJ, etc.....so, i guess it could be allergy related. But this really is bothersome. Even as I type this, my left temple feels weird, and a little "hot", (on the inside), and it feels like it's pressing somewhat....I don't feel that squeezing now as much.

Well, I just wanted to let you guys know! We'll see what happens from here....

sincerely, MyDarling

hi ,,,, just let me add that my sinuses are so bad right now! not to whine, just to throw this info. in, as maybe this is reall;y truly sinus .. I know some ladies here have had sinus INFECTIONS and were also told they didn't have that, and yet, took the antibitocs and felt better, so apparently, it WAS a sinus infection. So, maybe i'll do that too. I mean, something's gotta give here!
The sinus pressure is mainly on my left eyebrow, but again, as I just said, I am also getting that left temple pressing and pain on and off tonight too.....so, that could be connected to the sinus. Just, trying to put the pieces together!

Now "mydarling". Sit in a comfortable chair and ask yourself whether all of this worry was worth the trouble to find out that you are fine. I think doctors love patients who "look" for health problems - they live far more well off than these patients and know pretty much how to plant a "health seed" of doubt that will get one's mind going again. I think if you were to ignore any symptoms, they would eventually let up. (Hard thing to do; I have been there) I have been like you and when that stress level goes up, the blood pressure elevates, sugars rise, eyesight, intestines kick into overload and muscles become "weak" are involved. Getting ready to fight or run. More damage because there will be no fight or run and the extra adrenalin actually is doing more damage to our insides. One needs to engage in any kind of exercise to neutralize the anxiety. I can so relate to what you are going through. I am seven years post and pretty much have adopted a "what will be" attitude. Will cross that bridge should it ever comes in front of me. That has helped "settle" my hormone deprived brain.
