Am I the only one whose MAIN symptom is brain fuzzzzz and drunk like and woozy head? If it is so, than maybe I have something else going on in my head and it is not related to perimenopause.......I am desperate after 7 years of this...need some answers.....Joan

No you're not the only one Joan. Not so much drunk feeling for me - more like a "medicine" head or disconnection.

Joan
are you using hrt? Is anyone using hrt experiencing an improvement in the brain fog department? Is anyone experiencing improvement from some other source?

Thank you all so much for replying! I had an awful time with thryoid problems prior to this so I am very anxious about this particular symptom .....though it is quite possible I had peri and thryoid going on at the same time! It does help to know that is really can be peri related....since my thryoid numbers are near perfect by every measurement and according to even the thyroid board people....
Lady E....in terms of improvement when did you first notice some? I was on one BCP for two months (I know al BCPs are not alike) but all I did was get progressivly worse....but the worsening is suttle until finally one day to just feel so awful....would hate to repeat that again..... but I am willing to try again if there is any hope there, but it would be nice to know at what point I should at least start feeling a bit better.....so glad to hear it is helping you!
