HI all, I'm Crystal & new as of tonight. I have had 2 laproscopies for endometriosis & my doctor has me again on Lupron Depot shots for 6mos. to help me w/the pain in my pelvis from this condition. I'm trying to get used to again going thru this--I had these same shots last year w/out sucess. I had a lot of OLD endo that never got taken care of, thus the shots didn't work. I am trying to get used to the hot flashes, the moodiness, & the brain fog. I'm feeling like I'm doing Marcel Marceau's "walking in the wind" to compensate for all this--headlong against the current & going no where. I'm really appreciating this site--I felt i wasn't getting any relief from my hot flashes & decided to google the daylights out of the net & found here. So, right now i'm blessedly cool thanks to the coldish nights here in Charlotte, NC (i'm originally from Wisconsin, so this mild weather is a new thing!). I don't know if this is the right place to post, but it looked close enough. This site has been a wealth of info & i'm greatful as can be! What I'd like to know in this roundabout, rambling way is if there are other women who're dealing w/this & how they do it? Please let me know...Thanks & I hope others benefit from this too!
