I am battling a sinus infection and have been on augmentin for 12 days. I noticed the bottle said it could affect birth control pills so I called the pharmacists and she affirmed that yes, it could indeed affect my natural hormones.

I should say!! I'm not sleeping well, I'm hot all night, and my eyes are dry. Looking forward to being done with the antibiotics so my symptoms can get the full benefit of the hormones.

Just wanted to give yall a head's up...

I'm beginning to think antibiotics are the root of all evil.. I think that in addition to my peri messing with my hormones, the 5 rounds of antibiotics I've been on in 2 months for UTI's and bacterial vaginosis have seriously exacerbated my symptoms too - extreme fatigue, headache, gastric distress, anxiety. I'm reading up on candida overgrowth and will ask my holistic gyno tomorrow when I go to get my bloodwork results. Hope you begin to feel better, Danaleigh
