yeah, that face there best describes me these days, that's why I chose it .. lol . . ok, let me ask you ladies something here..

I posted a few days ago about VERICOSE VEINS, and since then, I've developed a few MORE! I mean, this is ridiculous! (mainly, on that same RIGHT leg!!!), I have developed a few more on my left leg too, but MORE on my RIGHT leg. For pete sake, when I woke up the other morning, I had developed TWO MORE on my RIGHT LEG, and my dr. wants to keep telling me that's "normal" for my age. Now, can anyone here help me with this?

Does anyone here have vericose veins, or perhaps a mom, or aunt, or sister, or friend that has them? If so, did they start just appearing within a week? Literally? Now, they ache on and off, which I think is normal, the black and blue mark on one of them (on my right calf) is STILL there, and that's been there a while too, and there seems to also be a "section" of a vein that appeard above my RIGHT knee (it's not popped up, or twisted, just that it's very visible, like a lot of the other ones on my RIGHT leg thigh right now...and it ACHES!) My dr. told me that the black and blue mark (which is slightly tender) is again, NORMAL, yet, it's not going away, or at least, it's taking it's time. There seems to be another one starting as well. He says he's seen this before, adn while this isn't the way EVERYONE has this happen to them, it DOES happen this way sometmes. IS THIS TRUE?!!!!

I feel at this point like I"m afraid to go to sleep at night, because I'm afraid of what I'll wake up too!!!!!

P.S- DEAREST, I sure would appreciate any info. from you on this since you yourself lived through this. Also, when you had those clots on your legs, did they test you for a DVT, or not? My dr. said he didn't think I needed an ultrasound because when he felt my veins he said there weren't any superficial clots, and so that would automatically mean there weren't any DEEP VEIN clots either, what do you think? THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
