Deb--I sure hope your words don't come back to haunt you!!!. I hated my periods too. I actually had a double uterus. When I had my periods I was doubled up in so much pain I was sick to my stomach. I flowed like a stuck pig, but I can tell you WITHOUT A DOUBT I would go back to those days in a heartbeat. A couple days of misery each month would be sooo much better than the he!! I go thru everyday now with a multitude of horrible symptoms. It has not been a walk in the park, I'm in what I've figured out now is about my 20th (no joke) year of this!!.----Shelley

Shelley,
I had no idea that you had double uterus....I hope my words don't come back to bite me. I know I really should be glad that I don't suffer from cramps but the flooding I can do without. I pray for you to have comfort in your struggle with this stuff we call menopause.

I never had a problem with my periods, not much pain or heavy bleeding either, and I stil have it regular. It is better to have a period, than live in peri-h**l.

I know how you feel, good or bad I have done this. I actually pray sometimes my period would just disappear too so my body would stabalize. I have periods, not regular, and am in peri Bleep. Everyday lately I feel awful. I wonder soometimes how many symptoms can show up. I must really be sensitive to hormone imbalance. I can't work, I can't grocery shop, I can't drive my son 2 mi. to work all because I'm soooo stinken lightheaded. My ears are plugged almost always. I'm so tired and my heart has been jumpin around for quit awhile. I live like I have a disability, but don't.
Lately I have been feeling like my throat spazes or something and it seem hard to get a good breath, almost always around my cycle before and after. What do you know there is such a thing as premenstrual asthma????? Come on...I started to feel this gradually when I started to get hotflashes. Anyway My body seems like it will never be right again. I'm 39 I feel shortchanged...HUGS Mikki

Hi I know how you feel I am 39 also lightheadedness has been my downfall came on me all of a sudden it was horrible i put my foot down to walk up the road one day and it felt like it sunk straight through the floor, very weird, after that it progressed until i had it 24/7 as well i couldnt seem to focus properly as if when i looked at something i was tuning in a notch behind the rest of me, i wasnt falling about or anything, but the experience was terrible it has eased of alot at times it now goes just when i think thats it , it pops back again to remind me worse as my period approaches, i hardly got out the chair at first afraid if i did too much it would get worse, i spent months sat about, now i force myself not to give in i admitt i havent driven much i am afraid to, but i will do i wont let it beta me. keep smiling, i know how you feel at the same age as you i also felt short changed, i thought i had to be in my fiftys for this, how wrong was I
