hello dear friends,

i have, gratefully, finished perimenopause and am for a year in menopause. oddly, i get monthly symptoms like nausea, cheek numbness, eyelash twitching. these symptoms come every 30 days like a menstural cycle. thankfully, the creepy crawly feelings are gone. has anyone else had numb cheeks and eyelash twitches

I perimenopausal and I go get the numbness in my cheeks and around my mouth. I haven't had the eyelash twitching...but trust me everything else has twitched including the eye. Perhaps even though you are menopausal you are still experiencing some hormone fluctuation on a monthly basis. I think it's totally possible for that to happen for awhile.

I have this eye twitching sometimes what is that all about? Is that part of the perimenopause thing?

I had the undereye twitching. It's gone now (with ERT). Definitely an estrogen-lack thing.

Is this part of the process? I had it really bad not long ago. My son made fun of me.

My eyes twitch right before my period will start. My left eye will twitch and two days later, I will get my period. It has to be a hormone thing. I do know there are migraines that are painless but affect your eye somehow.
