I am 43 years old and for the past year I have had extremely heavy, clotty, long periods. At first I would flood and flood but it didn't hurt. Now it seems to have slowed down a little bit but is a lot more painful. It has been. years since I actually felt like I should take something for the pain. The worst part of this is the anxiety I have at work. I really worry that I'll start to floos or cramp and I have a job where I have to be on my feet the whole shift. My main question is how long do these long , heavy periods tend to last? Now that I've been heavy for a year will it taper off soon? I have taken raspberry and yarrow and that has seemed to help. Anybody out there thats about my age going thru a similar experience. I really feel like I am going nuts. I just try not to show it ! lol!
