Congratulations Denise! It's great to see you on here again!

Wow that is wonderful news! I don't think these tests are really ever wrong. My doctor never tested/examined me after I did them and then went to see him when the results were positive with both my pregnancies. He said they were so accurate. This may be what it takes to straighten your hormones out. Denise - you are still a good age for this 33 is young! I had my kids at 31 and 34.

Denise, good to see you back!

First, let me say: blink.gif (That would be my reaction, LOL!)

Then, let me say: Congratulations!

As far as the pregnancy test, I don't know much about them. Have you been using any kind of birth control? If not, then it certainly could be pregnancy, as we are fertile until we go one whole year without a period. And I have heard of people who feel great during pregnancy, so that could explain you feeling so good.

Denise,
Your the same age I was when I got pregnant with my second child. I felt great during my pregnancy with all the hormones in big supply. I don't know if the pregnancy test you took is accurate for sure but if it is.. Congrats!

Congratulations!! Yep, if the test was positive you're pregnant. False negatives are common but not false positives. My ob/gyn never gave me a pregnancy test...I just called the office to say I'd had a positive home test and that was good enough for them.

I had my babies at 30, 33 and 35. I've had hormonal issues all my life but I never felt better than when pregnant. Hope this is true for you too, and have a happy and healthy 9 months!

Congratulations Denise !

Ya better tell hubby and daughter...my daughter was no more than a week late...took the test...it was postive.
She's pregnant due in May.

Wow, Denise! That is SO cool that you're pregnant! I was 35 when I got pregnant with my one and only child. You're just a young thing, and I think this is wonderful news. Tell your family and celebrate! (with non-alcoholic drinks of course! *grin*)

It's so great to hear from you again, and doubly so with such wonderful news!

Oh Denisey, I have also missed you and yes I sure think you are, you know they say that if you are in the change and have a baby its a real good thing.
Wow I am going to be a cybergranie again remember I adopted you once, oh I am so excited.
Your age is just right, you know I was 38 ohmy.gif when I had my 16year old teen so you are just right.
Oh please keep us posted, yeah that is probably why you felt so good what an incredible blessing.
Love your Adopted Mom,

Congrats,Denise! Nice to see you back and glad to hear you've been feeling so well! Amazing what a little extra hormones will do!
(Though at my age I'd rather have a patch than a baby!) You're still a young'un. laugh.gif

Keep us posted on how you're doing but I'd definitely have a sit-down with the family today! biggrin.gif And call the doc tomorrow.

Congrats to you! Those pregnancy tests are 99.9% accurate as i've used them before in the past, About 26 years ago I used one to confirm my pregnancy & it was positive, it was later confirmed by a doctor, so yes you are almost for sure a mom-to-be! Again congratulations
Dollies4Me
Gosh, you're only 32 years old! You're barely out of your 20s!
Of course the test is accurate!
Congratulations!
So what are hoping for, a girl or a boy???
MamaMia
CONGRATULATIONS Denise!!!

Every home pregnancy test I ever took that was positive was accurate. I have six kids and 3 miscarriages, so 9 accurate tests. Actually, more. Sometimes after taking the first one, I would take another, just to be sure. laugh.gif

I had my last child at 36 and he has been the greatest joy. As an "older" mom you are more relaxed about parenting. It certainly is a lot different raising him, than my first who is going to be 30 this year. There are 20 years between my last child and my first.

The pregnancy hormones are for sure the reason you are feeling so good. Oh, to have normal hormones again. rolleyes.gif

Congrats again!!!

Hugs,
Susan

I had my last (sixth baby) at 44. At the time my oldest was 26!
They are the cutest sisters now at 2 1/2 and 28.
I hope everything is going well for you.
