On Tuesdays, since its weight club chat day, and since my partner is usually not here at supper time on Tuesdays ( I'm the lover of fresh veggies in the family) I'm going to have a healthy steamer supper.Will consist of fresh veggies such as:broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, yams or sweet potato, asparagus, artichokes, celery. What ever type of Fresh Vegtables you like. The more colorful they are the better for our bodies.I will cook my artichoke seperately in a garlic/olive oil poaching broth for an hour before,,,,,,,,,,then I'llPlace the longer cooking veggies in a steamer, add a touch of salsa sauce, ( I'll use my homemade) and a little seasoning salt, steam for 20 minutes. Now add the broccoli and asparagus, you can throw in some sweet slices of onion. Then I'll add some left over cooked chicken, cooked turkey, fish or tuna and steam 10 more minutes, add some sharp cheddar just a bit for the flavor, (you can have it be vegetarian as well)Voila, My Healthy Tuesday Club Supper
