Hi since starting peri the past several months i have had this list of symptoms:

Dry skin
lightheadedness
anxiety for no reason
flushes
palpatations
spots as if i am retrurning to my teenage years

am I ever going to feel normal again,

I cant even be bothered this year to write xmas cards and i love xmas.

I get so tired, its not as if i have a reason to be tired.

Please tell me its not going to last long I want to feel normal again.

I feel fed up with this and I havent had it long,
Shakti
You sound just like me! As the years go by the symptoms come and go and they also change. You didn't mention your age but you will find a great support group here as well as answers to most of your concerns and questions.

Lately my eyeballs have been feeling sore, along with the bones right under my eyes. Usually this comes and goes as I have a headache, but sometimes, like today, there is no headache--just the sore eyes. They ache like I've strained them. Does anyone else have a history of this? I can't really find anything on it. I wear glasses--have for the past 30 years (I'm 48). And I've been so itchy--especially my head. "Normal" for peri? These ever-changing daily symptoms are beginning to consume my every waking moment. Some days it's just so hard to remain positive.

I'm 39 and have been dealing with peri for the last year at least. Every couple months I go through a period of "will I ever just feel good again". It seems like I will go a month or two where I have the same things showing up then out of no where it will be something completely new added to the mix. I tracked it really closely for a while and once I found a pattern and how it correlates directly to my monthly cycle it seems to have made everything so much easier to deal with.
