HI:
I don't have salt cravings now but it reminds me of when I was 15 and starting out with my period and all the hormones I had going on back then. I craved salt so bad then and would just eat it out of the salt shaker. I wonder if it has something to do with hormone fluctuations. Anyone know?

I used to enjoy salt in grade school! And I remember a classmate had a younger sister who'd go around with one of those individual Mortons salt salt shakers. My friend said, "my sister eats like a ton of salt a day." The sister was maybe 8.
I craved chocolate during teen years.
Funny, now I don't at all. Although not so long ago I did (meaning a year, say). A lot has happened since. I either just went into peri (I'm 53) or else I had a very long quiet one and now all he's broken loose.
Anyway, no salt cravings since grade school. Chocolate, yes. But now that's gone.
