Hi ladies,

Does anyone here get yellowish fingernails? I know it CAN be caused by nail polish , which I do wear, and I've had the last coat on for about 2 mos. now (bad, I know)...and I noticed today that my nails on my left hand, were yellowish, then, on the "pointer" finger on the left hand,,,,there's this bright yellow thread like line that runs from left to right across the nail, underneath the nail, on the nail bed.....I could pull out a little skin from the side of the nail, and YEP, it's the actual skin color! BRIGHT YELLOW! now, is that a nail fungus? I ran next door to my girlfriend, and she seems to think that is def. a nail fungs, bec. her daughter had had the exact same thin yellow line going across her TOE nail, and their dr. had said it was a fungus...ok, so any thoughts? I know that a nail infection or fungus can also be brought on by a lowered immune system, and this past week, our whole house has been batteling the FLU, BIG TIME! I still can't taste or smell (hey, any thoughs on how to get that back?) .... so, that could account for the lowered immune system I guess.....

well, thanks ladies, once again! Sincerley, mydarling

Hi,

Google candida symptoms and see what you find.
