I woke up today feeling cold. That kind of cold you get when you run a fever.
I checked my temp before drinking anything and it read 97.6 (which is normal for me)

For awhile I felt cold. Turned up thermostat. Hubby says it's hot to him in the house.

Okay, once I get going, I start picking up stuff around the house, and suddenly I'm hot flushing in my face! And it increases with more that I do.

So I go take my temp and it says 98.7. I feel silly for checking it but I'm curious!

I sat down and immediately had one heck of a hot flush in my face! Even my ear felt hot.

The longer I sat, the hot flushing eased off. When I rechecked my temp, it was back down again to 98.0.

I got back up to finish what I was doing and here comes the heat again in my face. Sit back down for awhile with a cold drink and I start getting cold and chilly.

This is darn near making me scared. I always get anxiety and think I have some serious illness causing this.

Some days, I just feel heat in my face for hours.

Can anyone here relate to this? Why the temp fluctuations? I think our temps go up normally w/ activity, but it makes my face HOT.

I'm also on my period.

And to top this post off, I felt a little earthquake here while writing this LOL, dear heavens!

I get the same around my period - day before it's due (funnily enough that is today for me) I get really hot. Also the first day of it. I was just about to post about this & ask if anyone else gets it - but you beat me to it.

I don't get hot face flushes as such but my temp goes up really quickly at this time of month. I have had other times when I am freezing cold, nothing but a hot bath will warm me through. Then I will cool down to normal temp after the bath, then half an hour later start to move again and be sweltering!

My thermostat is broken!

I feel the same way! Like my thermostat is broken. Sometimes I feel so cold I need a hot bath to take it away.

I'm thinking of buying some lavender essential oil or something relaxing for the bath.

This really freaked me out! Broken thermostat - I started saying that last year before I even thought I could be pre menopause!

I get the temperature changes as well, I can go so hot, often when doing housework, and I find the day or two before my period I get froze and then hot during it and then cold again, sometimes my face goes so red and I just cant cool down I carry a spray for my face around, often get really hot when eating a hot meal and also after a bath, try no to have them too hot these days but can still feell hot. Im also going hot now ,I find on the computer sometimes I get tingles all through and go hot and find it hard to focus on the screen
