I'm a new member and have just been looking at all these wonderful message boards. I too have been on WW for the last year and have lost 24 pounds, have another 26 to go. It has been very tough and I've plateaued many times. I also started premenopausally and am now post, so it was difficult to lose during that time.

WW actually has a booklet that helps you turn a plateau around and it helps you find your eating balance. I am a high protein person, and I also have to eat all of my points, or I gain. This is because I've done so much see-sawing on diets over my life. When I cut my points too far back, then my body holds onto the fat, for fear of perishing.

Congrats to all of you who have hung in there. I think I will have to go to the meetings for the rest of my life, because they are the only thing that work for me...believe me, I've tried it all, including nutritionists.

Just remember..."Nothing tastes as good as thin feels".

Good luck!!

I am telling myself at the moment 'I want to be slim more than I want the extra calories'!!!
