[font=Comic Sans Ms]What is up with this??? I am breaking out again at age 40! Is this hormone related? Gosh, I feel like a teenager again...moodswings, face going bonkers, don't feel like myself, etc.

I've heard that menopause is the new puberty! Anyone else heard that?

Seriously, though, has anyone else experienced it? If so, what did your doc say?

I'm going for my follow-up next week after being told I'm "entering menopause" by my OBGYN.

i've always called menopause 'puberty in reverse'

i had the pimply stage as well.. it didn't last long if that helps, maybe a year or so...

This also happened to me for about 6 months and I had never suffered from a skin problem in my teen years. My skin for some reason (hormones I would guess) became oily and I usually have such dry skin on my face. I broke out mainly on my chin and above my upper lip. It didn't last long and my skin seems to be back to normal now.
