I bought some and used it three hours ago I feel so soothed and my inability to take a deep breath seems to be eased, completely at the moment. Could be coincidence.
Has anyone else tried, or uses this?
What do you ladies think about it?
Cheers

Love it! I am never without it in my bag. The anxiety has eased considerably since I started bios but every now and then I find myself getting anxious and the Rescue Remedy always helps.

Hi ladies,
It is called Rescue Remedy and is made by a firm called Bach who make herbal flower remedies in little bottles. Also essential oils for massage etc.
In my health food shop they have a stand and you can buy the flower extract that you need to sort your problem.
They also make Rescue Remedy which comes again in a little bottle with a pipette dispenser. You put four drops on your tongue or in a glass of water and drink it and away you go. I just popped it on my tongue, it is grape alcohol based but four drops isn't going to do you any harm! I felt so good afterwards and whilst I won't say it alone cures all ills based on the two days I have now used it but today I used it this morning and have felt good since.
I have non specific meno anxiety but for ths last few weeks I have had such a job getting a deep breath I had become stressed completely by this even though I could tell myself it was just anxiety causing it. Since then I have had the odd moment but nothing to what it was so on my limited two days I reckon it was worth the shot of buying it. I had kind of scorned things like that until yesterday.
I haven't googled it but reckon if you do you may be able to find some somewhere. It has a bright yellow label, they sell it in bigger Chemists here in the UK, drugstores(?) and some supermarkets too.

Hi all...I have been using rescue remedy for a number of years. It has rescued me countless times when I have been feeling anxious or depressed. Sometimes I use it first thing in the morning when I have an inkling that it is going to be a tough day and it helps so much.
You should be able to buy it at any health food store.

They do have a website. It's very informative. They tell you all about how Bach started making the remedies and about each one of them. They make quite a few!
I get mine in our local health food store.

Hi, I'm new to this website, so hope I'm doing the right thing here in replying.
I've used Bach Flowers for many years and even make my own. It may interest you to read more about it, because Bach Flowers help with about any emotional problems you can think of. I imagine it works differently on each person and in my case, it was very suttle. When I quit taking them, I would think back at how I handled certain situations before I took them and notice how I handeled them after and would definitely notice changes.
By the way I think I replied to the wrong person and don't know how to fix it, so just consider this a comment to anyone who doesn't know what Bach Flowers are.

I poo-poo'd this when my daughter used it about ten years ago but I think it's wonderful stuff. I think it works much faster when i put it on my pulse points like perfume, without leaving the alcohol smell on your breath.

Discovering Bach's Rescue Remedy this past summer was one of the highlights of my meno experience. BAM!.....the stuff works for me. I have it in spray form that you just spray onto your tongue and like magic.....serenity surrounds me.....my heart rate goes down.....I am at peace with my world once again (open up GW.....)

I've had Rescue Remedy on hand for several years now, as I've always had good luck with it. It takes the edge off my tension, yet it's very subtle. I keep it in the cupboard right next to some lavender essential oil. I put the Rescue Remedy drops under my tongue, and rub a few drops of lavender oil on my skin and sniff. It works beautifully, and there's absolutely no side effects with either substance.

We seem to have a Bach vibe going. I just asked dh to go get me some of the spray and some of the drops. I also requested Tart Cherry concentrate, which helps bring on melatonin, and Motherwort tincture, which helps with palpitations.
Separate thought:
I just read several articles (c 2001) with Stevie Nicks talking about her Klonopin addiction. Holy Moley. Who knew that stuff was so awful??

I know this thread is a few months old, but I bought some Rescue Remedy a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to say thanks to all who recommended it because IT ROCKS!! It is subtle, but it works and I've only had to take one small dose of Xanax since I started using this. I found it at the local drugstore, and got the spray bottle. Great stuff. Thanks again.

I think I will get some of this to try. I have used Passion Flower and that works. Also I bought Seredyn online. It's more expensive but it worked well for me too. The Seredyn has Passion Flower, Valerian Root, L-theanine an amino acid that works to calm you (found in green tea) and it also has Niacinamide (B3). The Niacinamide has precautions if you read up online but I think that may be for high doses. I don't have anxiety that much but when my back goes out I usually take one to offset a panic attack and the Seredyn works well. Sometimes I take it if I'm getting really irritated too and it calms me a little more.
But I will get the Bach Rescue and give that a try too. Thanks for the info.

Who knows the best place to get Bach's REscue Remedy??
There is another one called something "5" or anohter. Much cheaper, but I cannot do the research and I need to know if it's near the same as Rescue Remedy.
I have totally lost my ability to concentrate and my thoughts are so scattered I just can't do it anymore.
Maybe I should try their Add tonic or whatever that is first, huh??
anyone??
