Hi ladies,,,,

now see, this is really weird. It is about 5 days before my period, and I'm getting these really wacked out symptoms.
OK, here goes: last night, I was laying on my back on the bed, on the phone, when I get this really deep ache, around the kidney area, then, I got this HOT feeling, and this really queasy feeling as well. This all lasted about 1/2 hr. and the worst of it passed. But I still felt "sick", queasy. I finally was able to fall asleep but it was hard. I slept a few hrs. and when I woke up, i was HOT again, same thing as what happened to me in May (but that was AFTER my period)...it's not a fever, because I take my temp. , so it's just this really hot feeling, which i know is hormonal. But, I felt so DARN SICK! (and "weird"). I got up, and felt as though I was getting the flu, but I knw I wasn't. I felt totally DETAHCED, and still do, and felt very lightheaded, and queasy, and just plain SICK! Now, this just came on me out of the blue last night. I happened to notice that as I was sitting here typing this, that my hands and forearms feel "heavy" and so does the left side of my neck and under my chin on the left side, it feels THICK....this is so weird! It actually felt as though my hands were sort of not to flexible, like they had gotten somewhat stiff, it's better now. Anyway, I called my GYN, and she had already left, but I spoke to her nurse......she knows me, I've been going there for a long time now...she said to me that this sounded hormonal?!!! That since I am in peri, that there are crazy wacked out symptoms that do happen, that seem as though you are dying! This I can certainly attest to! But, of course, this all scared me terribly! I reminded her that last time, in MAY, that a lot of the same symptoms as this happened, but that it was about a WEEK AFTER MY PERIOD, and this is A WEEK BEFORE MY PERIOD......she seems to think it's hormonal. I made an appt. to see my GYN, but that won't be till Wed. of next week!

OK, so has anyone ever gotten any of this? I knwo the HOTfeeling is hormonal, and I know the DETACHED feeling is too, but that thick heavy feeling in my legs and arms, and under the left side of my chin? Doesn't that seem more like your lymph system? But, the nurse seems to think it's hormonal, all of it.

ANYONE ELSE?

What I've found is that my hormones are so "out of whack" that things that used to happen at a certain point in my cycle happen at completely different times, with no rhyme or reason...so I definitely do think it's hormonal, just not related to menstruation any longer. It's as if there's no real "rhythm" any more, just wild fluctuations that can cause symptoms to pop up at any time, like a roller coaster ride! huh.gif It's no fun, but I think if you stop trying to explain it, it gets easier. (not EASY, but easy-ER)

I know how you feel. About a week to ten days b-4 by period, I feel absolutely wierd and wacked out. I call this my "wonky" time! I am really tired, aching all over, not able to do alot, headaches, nauseated, no appetite and the wonky feeling is like I am not in my body but that of someone 20 to 30 years older than me. I don't feel like myself again until about a week after my period and then when I feel good ovulation period is here and I feel wierd. Then the period feeling start again about 10 days after that! I maybe get 7 days out of the whole month where I feel like myself.
