A co-worker of mine, who is 59, is having major night sweats. I have been bragging on this web site, so I thought I'd ask ya'll for some advice for her. I am in perimenopause, so we are not really on the same wave length.
She has not had a period for seven years. Correct me if I'm wrong, but she's menopausal. She does take blood pressure medication. No alcohol or drugs. She is having nightsweats at least once a night. Her name is Pat. Pat said it's mostly her upper body and head. She has had times when she's not had them.
Her work is somewhat stressful, but she's been having them before this last job.
She's wondering how long these will go on? Will Revival Soy help her? It's helping me. Is there something else she could try?
Thanks for your help and input,
Sharon
Btw, I've done some reading online about nightsweats, and have read off some of the conditions that may cause them. I've also advised her to talk to her doctor, but I wanted to pick ya'lls brains, too.
Sometimes, I think ya'll know more than doctors!
Thanks,
Sharon
