After 71 days. 60 days between my prior periods.

I knew I would, I just knew it. We had a seven-day cruise planned, with friends, and, of course, on day number one it started. I was semi-prepared, thank goodness for Wal-mart, but the really wierd thing was what happened to my friend. She had not had a period for four years. Lo and behold, she started bleeding a day before me. I am concerned about her, because she had a change of medication a couple of days earlier, and she also thinks it may have been that she lifted a very heavy suitcase. I've told her she needs to visit her gyn right away, but she's stubborn and is going to wait until her annual visit, which is a month or so away.

I have a friend who swears that when you go out of town, your period will start. She says that the change of scenery just does something and will get you started every time. I want to disagree and argue with her, but it seems like lately when I travel, my period starts!

Another interesting tidbit for me: I am on Revival Soy products, and missed taking the soy on the first day. I started the very next day. Any connection??? I wouldn't think so, but I have to wonder.

Ha- I aways get my period on vacation or when I have to go somewhere. I didn't have one for months and as soon as I had to travel a short bit....you got it...the period arrived. I can't explain it, it just stinks. Of course, the entire time I didn't have my period (which was months) I didn't travel at all. Go figure.

I have read that any bleeding post menopause should be checked by a doctor.
