Was just lying in bed, watching the tv like I do before I drift to sleep. Sort of sat up to adjust my pillows and found a 2 in. centipede that had crawled between the pillows.
It slithered away down the back of the mattress I think, I didn't think fast enough to try and kill it.
WTH to do-guess I'm going to sleep on the couch-
Talk about creepy. At least it didn't wait til I was asleep and crawl somewhere else-ok I'm grossed out now.
Tomorrow I will do a thorough sweep, but I don't want to sleep in there any time soon lol

Ohhhhhhhh! Bugs give me the creeps. One time I was leaning down getting clothes out of the dryer and felt something dangling in front of my face. I thought it was lint or something from the laundry. There was a centipede crawling down my hair and falliing into my face. OMG!!!!! I practically fell over the dryer door and ran screaming all around the basement.

Well, so much for the crappy night. I had gotten into a pretty good sleep pattern, too, before this incidence. Maybe I am just making too much out of it.
EVERYTHING bothers me nowadays. So, I'm going to chill today-it's going to be another nasty day in my area-so I have the mood to match lol

OOhhh I don't think you are making too much out of a centipede sharing your bed, those things are so nasty looking........I have felt something crawling on my chest once awhile ago, I look and find it is a spider in my bra, and couldn't be a small one oh no and big nasty looking brown one, I didn't think I cold move that fast.....my shirt came flying of along with the bra...good ting there was noone home althought someone may have got a show from the windows, I didn't care..............and once while living in Fl. where you share your home with lizards, I was taking a shower and turned to see and tree frog sliding down the shower wall, he would slide and crawl back up, slide and back up, I finished my shower while staying way to the side while he promised to keep to his. Ok I dont mean to be a "one-up-man" but I have to tell you guys this story!!!! I hate bugs of just about any kind in my house as a result of this.

Ya'll know I live in SE Texas. We get lots of rain therefore lots of bugs. I was about 14 when this happened. Anyway, after a strong hurricane swept through our area we had tons of rain and wind. Myu mother and I were checking the house for damages, while checking the vaulted ceilings in the living room I felt something blop on my head and started crawling. I started freaking out and screaming. My mom came running and guess what was tangled in my hair? A WATER ROACH!!!!!!!!! It was the length of my thumb and fatter with wings. She had to cut it out of my hair all the while it is trying to fly and wiggle away. eeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww it makes me shudder to remember!!!

Now I scream really loud when I see them. I dont blame you for being grossed out. I do not share my house with any bugs that I know about!!!!!!!

Dear Senecaguns
No I do not think you are over reacting.I am terrified of all bugs and run a mile screaming!
Here in the Middle Ease we have lots of snakes, huge big hairy spiders and scorpions so have to be very careful as some of their bites can be fatal!
We use lots of screens on windows and doors and there are special companies that will come out when you want to get the whole house cleared out.
I always look under my bed,and under all sheets and pillows before climbing in.Have sprays and large objects around to hit anything suspicious on the head!
Stay Safe

Dear 'stitchnanny'
Now that is enough to give anyone a heart attack!Thank God your Mum was around.I bet you felt shaky for days afterwards.
I often wonder why we have to share the World with some really loathsome creatures?
I adore all living creatures but bugs,no way! There was a Programme on T.V. where it showed a tribe in Australia catching bugs and eating them.Apparently they are a great source of protein but not for me!
Pif-Paff is my biggest ally in the Bug war
All the Best
