Dear 'j'
Was on Agelique for about a year.At the beginning there was some break out bleeding and spotting.
Unfortunately I had to chose another HRT,along with my Gyno.,as it was not available here any more
So Iam now on Trisequens-so far so good.
Wishing you Luck

Sorry, I had to laugh. When I saw this post the first thing that came to mind was my favorite Soap as a kid...Dark Shadows! Angelique was the beautiful witch everyone loved to hate! LOL

I was over a year post when I started Angelique and have been on it a little over a year. It took about 10 days to start helping with hot flashes. It helped my insomnia too. I have had no spotting or other problems from it. I don't supplement with anything else. I still have some anxiety, heart palps, low libido. You can't use a salt substitute (potassium) because of the kind of progesterone that's in it.

Just to let everyone know......I tried 1/2 dose of Angelique 2 different times while I was off on vacation. The next day, both times, I became flat, exhausted, depressed and more anxious. This is my third attempt to supplement my low dose estrogel with 3 different kinds of progesterone. I CANNOT take it!!!!!
So now, 3 days after trying it, I am a mess. Depressed, detached, anxious, tired and miserable. Any helpful ideas?

Dear 'jhawley'
It is amazing how we all react so very differently to Meds. and HRT.
Actually Angelique is a very low dosage of Estradiol so taking half a tablet means you were not getting much Hormone into your system.
I know that you have tried three times and none has worked. What about the BHRT route?
Also I am now on Trisequens ,as Angelique no longer available here, and so far so good.
It is all a matter of balance but please do not be despondent. Many ladies have had to try two or three different HRTs before getting the best results for themselves.

Wishing you luck
Please keep us posted
