I have been very lucky, I never had more than 1 a month and never really heavy. Over the last 4.5 years they have been declining. Last year I had 1.

hang in there

I have didgens.....i went from having one like every 18 or 19 days to being 50 and 60 some days apart and skipping months altogether...unfortunatley though, they'll go back to being close together....then far apart...and so on and so on..... mad.gif

I haven't had one since Dec. 2 of last year. I am not sure if I am done or not. My FSH were really high (It was in the hundreds) Anyway, I won't count when I am done until after a year.

Anyway, I am thinnner, exercise, eat really healthy but I am unsure if that has anything to do with it.

I do have some anxiety but I am unsure if it is from all that is going on with me or hormones or both. My hot flashes were bad for awhile but don't seem to bad now. I am unsure if they will come back or not. I guess it is a waiting game that is for sure.

I hear the body builds up the p cream so eventually it quits working .. you might keep that in mind if you find over time its becomming less effective.

I haven't had a period since May 08. They just sort of peetered out.
In the beginning of peri (many years ago) my periods were like clockwork, very heavy, clotty and long. Then they changed from being heavy through the whole period to being heavy only the first couple of days, then just light spotting. I had about 6 to 8 months of light periods, then they stopped.
For a number of months after they stopped I would have phantom pms pains and each month when I was supposed to get my period, I'd go to bed "prepared" for it to come overnight (wasted lots of sanitary products then). But, nothing would come.
I don't get the twinges, aches, pains or tell tale signs of an imminent period anymore so I would have no idea where I would be in my cycle. But, then I don't think about that anymore. Just glad that I haven't had to deal with them and keeping my fingers crossed that 13 months is it!
It's interesting how everyone experiences this so differently.
My Mom had a complete hysterectomy when she was 49 so I couldn't get the low down from her.....;-)

Did you give your age?

Yeah, what's with that weight gain??
It's like you went to bed one way and wake up 15 pounds heavier. It's very frustrating.
