Woke up at 3am this morning.......watched NBC Today(I saw a young red kangaroo in a zoo in Ohio! Interesting)......it is 5 degrees celsius(grateful for the hot flashes!).
I have a mouth that feels like the central Australian desert and a head that feels like someone has poured cement into it. My ears are so painful and tinnitus woke me up during the night!(what the?) I have been sick with this horrendous cold since Saturday and I am OVER IT!! No more feeling sick please......The peri is bad enough.I just want to be able to breathe through my nose.......thats all I ask. More Vicks, magnesium, zinc, vitamin C, tissues, steamy showers.......so help me, I am not going to the doctor!! Angry, three-legged badger time....... -------------------- What the hell is going on?

Yep, I hear you on the ears.......I was dx with ototoxic bilateral vestibulopathy and I am a little concerned about this pressure in my ears doing more damage to the inner ear.......we shall see. My partner looks at me sideways and says "Your ears will be fine babe." Easy for you to say, sweetie! I am more of a bear than ever.......I wonder about that voodoo doll in the shape of a bear, WITH pins sticking out of it.......hhhmmmm a nice dose of acupuncture would be good You take care too........ -------------------- What the hell is going on?

Sorry you're feeling so crummy. Sounds like a sinus infection I had a couple of years ago. Stayed stuffed up for so long I started getting claustrophobic because I couldn't breathe. Get well soon!
Isn't it strange that when you're sick, you can't remember what it feels like to be well? -------------------- Webalina

I am so sorry that you are sick and dealing with peri symptoms too!!!! I have to say that I would gladly take the temps in your area. I am in Texas and it has been between 93 and 96 everyday this week!!! Only to get worse. Take good care of yourself. Jeaninne -------------------- Hugs to all,

Isn't it strange that when you're sick, you can't remember what it feels like to be well? Hi there! You are so right in that when I'm not feeling well and have all these strange symptoms, I can't remember what it feels like to feel great and symptom free. But as soon as the symptoms are gone, I notice how great I feel! For the past few days, I've had the headaches that feel like my head is full too. And yesterday, I was feeling weakish, dizzyish just overall yucky! I was so afraid this morning that I'd wake up feeling crummy again, but thank God! I felt good. Now, here it is almost 10pm and I've had the full headachy feeling again for about 2 hours. I'm trying not to take Tylenol because I read about rebound headaches and the health anxiety is creeping up on me again! I'm 45 and just recently started chocking up all these symptoms I've been experiencing to peri. And it's only just begun since I haven't had hot flashes yet. 5+ more years of this?? How will we get through? This site is a godsend for me. Thanks to all the ladies who share their experiences. |
