My body is at it again!
Okay, so now add vicious gas to the list of symptoms...it just goes on and on. Does peri cause an increase in gas? I find that I really have to watch what I eat carefully....and still it can be bad...some days I just feel like not eating a thing in order to avoid this bloating, constipated, gassy thing...ugh, another reason to worry, I am so very sick of this stuff. Has anyone else noticed that peri caused an increase in gas? Thanks, Tracey |

Yes, Yes, YES! Constantly. Its been that way since my periods and cycles began changing. And it doesn't seem to have anything to do with what or when I've eaten. I did see 'gas' listed somewhere as a peri-effect. I have read that anything from milk, to lettuce, to beans can be the culprit, but I have the problem even when I haven't eaten any of those items. I guess its just another one of those things we have to live through . . .

I know that certain things will cause me problems, they always have (ice cream, beans, etc.) Like you, I can eat a very bland diet and have problems or eat really badly (fried foods) and suffer just the same...go figure! Gas X...helps me sometimes, buy a lot of it nowadays! I really really try to watch everything that goes into my mouth anyway. This is miserable, isn't it???? Thanks for responding, every response helps me to deal just a tad bit better! Take good care, Tracey |

our digestion is slowing ,, The first thing I noticed is that when I would wake up in the morning I felt like what ever I had eaten for dinner was still just sitting there in tact .. almost Like little or no digestion took place at all. I take something called "colon health" which is like activia in a pill form (I dont like dairy),, you can try some probiotics too to help with the digestion, ibs etc.

Yes, absolutely yes!!!!!!! It started happening a few years ago and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with what I eat. I'm always burping and, well you know, seems like! Gas X works pretty well for me but sometimes the bloating and pressure is unreal. My belly looks like I'm 5 months pregnant until I get it all out. It's very uncomfortable. Awful what our bodies do to us, isn't it ladies? Why don't men have any of these issues?

I have been uncomfortable since yesterday. Even the night was rough. I know it will pass, it always does, but when the stomach is in a flare it is soooo annoying and feels like it will never end. It doesn't matter what I eat either. It just happens. Nothing specific ends it either, it just stops. Lots of burping too, but I have always been good at that.
