Hi all - I am new to this board and glad to be here. A bit of background first - I am 40 years old. Over 5 years ago I had a host of symptoms that after testing for MS and many other things turned out to be severe anxiety. This came out of nowhere and totally freaked me out. That was treated for six months and all has been well with the anxiety since then as I have learned to recognize it and control it without medicine. At that same time I skipped several periods. This was the beginning as I look back of where I am now. I have 3-4 periods a year and experience occasional hot flashes/night sweats, NO libido, low mood, aches and pains, fuzzy thinking, headaches, heart palps, etc. It is like everything got out of whack during that time and never re-balanced. My doctor recently tested my saliva and I was found to be low on estrogen, progesterone and dhea. Two weeks ago I started using the lowest dose of vivelle dot, progesterone cream and 10 mg. dhea. This has triggered a cycle finally. I would like to get back on a regular cycle. I know I am supposed to go off of the prog. cream days 1-11 of my cycle but am no sure about the vivelle dot. Do I go off of that during the week of my cycle of stay on it all of the time? Does anyone have experience with what works well. Eventually I would like to get off of these when things get regulated again. I am a little nervous after reading all of the warnings on the packaging. I do feel better too but I think the fuzzy thinking is worse now for some reason - all other symptoms are better. Should I be concerned about this?
