Has anyone used this drug? I was prescribed this today for acne. Has anyone used it? Are there any side effects that I should be concerned about?

I use this drug ocasionally for bloating. It does reduce the androgens and is also prescribed for acne and other hair related problems. My girlfriend tried it for pms related bloating too but experienced bad nightmares. It seems to affec the CNS for some reason. There are alot of chat rooms out there regarding this drug and use in relation to hair problems/Hirsuitism (sp?). Try googling cause I don't know the links or think they're allowed to be posted. Geoffrey Redmond writes some good books on the Hormonally Vunerable/sensitive Women and addresses peri/meno and high androgens too. Maybe check those out too. Call you doc back if you have more questions and then decide what to do. But, basically you just need to make an informed decision and do what you think is best for your body. You don't know until you try it. Good Luck, JZZ
