Ok, so I have been in peri for about 7 years, hopefully at some point before I die my period will end and all the HELL that goes with it biggrin.gif
Any way via this "lovely" journey of womanhood....along with the hotflashes, vaginal atrophy, heart palipitations, mood swings, dental pain etc......I have developed skin rashes GALORE. 95% of the time this only effects me June-October(the hot months) I develop several different itchy, painful, ugly rashes on both arms & my chest..sometimes my stomach & butt....oh and for 3 year straight I had THE WORST YEAST INFECTION OF MY LIFE on my NIPPLES!!!!!!!!!!!.MY doctor said he hadn't seen anything that bad since he had a patient that was breastfeeding TWINS! I have never had kids.....oh God it was gross & itchy.....I have prescription creams for each & every one. My question is.....I have this ONE single red spot(size of 1/2 dime) on my leg....for the last 5 years..sometimes it itches and during the summer its very red.....during the winter...very pale....doesn't hurt....I can shave right over it when I am shaving my legs...it has NEVER changed....when I pull it to one side--it actually disappears almost like the pigment is gone, then I let go & of course its there. anyone else have anything like this. Also anytime I do outdoors..with shorts I always cover it during the summer months. It never been bloody, pusy, cracked, discolored, scabby---its just been there one lone red spot for 5 years. any ideas?

Buffy---- I had a two, small, red moles appear out of no where. They were on my thigh and the back of my calf. I found them in the beginning of peri. I had it checked out by a dermatologist and he said it was caused by HORMONES!! I was very surprised a medical doctor admitted something was caused by HORMONES!!

go to a dermatologist to be on the safe side.. I just went through 4 months of aldera treatments for basil cell carcinoma on my face .. (I've known i've had it for a couple years .. knew it wasnt life threatening but just took my time about dealing with it) .. get it checked out.

Hey buffy ,,, did you make it to the dermatologist ? have you tried any pro-biotics or colon suppliments like "colon health" or activia ?? I know alot of skin problems are because of antibiotic use,, we kill all the healthy antibiotics in our colon and toxins get into our skin,, if you think about it .. our skin is one continues loop right .. we are just a giant tube.. so what happens in our colon often times gets reflected on the outside in our skin .. trust me .. get a good suppliment take it for a couple months.

I'm a vegan--I most likely have the cleanest colon around(LOL) My doctor who has not clue what it is, and becos I have so many different skin rashes...we are trying a prescription cream.....to be honest right now my SPOT is not a concern. Took my mom(my best friend also) for a simple neck surgery--now shes in ICU on life support.....so trust me this red spot will have to wait, its been on my leg for 5 years never changing, so its secondary right now. sad.gif
