Today I go to for my bikini wax. (I go every couple of months and have it all removed.) I started doing this because the front area was getting "bald spots" from the loss of estradiol. Then I started getting new hair growth down my upper thighs (thick pube type - yuck). Ok, I roll with this new (androgen twist) and have THAT area waxed off too. Now, today, she's finding new pube hair growth around my, (sorry to be graphic) anus.
 ughhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I'm still in peri and my own hormone levels surpass the support provided by my E patch. UGH UGH UGH!!! Plucking some facial hair is one thing BUT - BUTT HAIR?! I want my "girly hormones" back at a healthier, higher level that made me function and look great.  Yes, I've had my dheas, and testosterone tested and are within those oh so useless arbritrary lab ranges. Not pcos. Probably is just my androgen leveles are too high in relation to my more rapidly declining E. On top of this if I don't get my period within the next few days then I'll have to cycle in the dreaded progesterone - or maybe not. (one doc says I can go 2 months without a period the other says 3) If this vaginally P is like the prometrium then I'll be facing loss of clumps of hair (from my head) while growing more facial hair, etc......... I want to scream!!!! I want to continue to look like a women - and with hair where it belongs! btw - have I mentioned my head hair has thinned and I have a small bald spot in right temple area.  I have suffered enough with all the other peri crap and now this??My thyroid tested "normal" too. Besides, wailing, whimpering and overall whining.............any suggestions. I could just scream. |
