its name today! Im in pain and its getting me so down as well as all my other symptoms. I have to

Dear 'severina55'
Welcome to the board my dear. Here you will find lots of fantastic ladies with lots of empathy and great information to share.
When I was diagnosed fully Menopausal at 39 I was told I had Vaginal Atrophy.I chose to go on HRT and it really helped me.,
, However you may not wish to go that route and there are many other Natural Herbs and Supplements which will help you.

All will become a lot clearer when you see your Doctor and know your Test results. Then you can discuss a plan best suited for you.

Meanwhile try to remain as calm as possible-easier said than done.Short walks can help and soaking in a warm bath then applying a little KY Jelly should give some relief.

Please keep us Posted
All the Best

I have had alot of issues in this area never got a name for it though.

This is what I had, I had burning, itching, dryness galore, pain day and nite.

I went to several docs and yes they wanted to give me hormonal creams, I chose not to take them.

I couldnt get a straight answer just drugs shoved at me and that wasnt the way I wanted to go.

This is what I have done and mind you I suffered off and on for years but recently I believe about 1 1/2 years I was at my lowest point.

I stopped sodas and coffee and started herbal teas and water and cranberry juice I like to add crushed ice because it is a bit strong but I luv it. Also they sell a sugar free cranberry juice in health food store.
I know alot of people have said its to acidic but you know google it and you will see so many benefits.
Also you can take an herbal supplement I take called SUPER CRANACTIN BY SOLARAY.

Okay the main thing that helped me was CALENDULA OINTMENT BY HYLANDS it is made from marigolds and I Believe with my whole heart that this repaired probably lil tears the ol girl had , but dont use with condoms if you are married because I believe it can break down the latex etc etc.
Very soothing very.

There are so many things you can do VIT E SUPPOSITORIES, PM me if you want a whole host of things.

Dont use soap I wash with summers eve for sensitive skin.

You can do all this in the meanwhile you see the doc.

Oh I almost forgot REPLENS also saved my life, some girls complain that you get a bit of a discharge after a few days but it goes away its usually pink but it SOOTHES.

I sure hope this gives you hope and a start.

Take care
God bless you

My doctor said it was "nerve pain" and gave me amitriptyline to take one
at night. I must say, after a week, it really helped the pain, but I ran out
of meds for a few days and the pain came back. I feel this is just masking
the problem now. Any input welcome
