]Hello,
I am new to this forum. I too have an issue with painful intercourse and vaginal dryness. I have used Liquidbeads and Replens. The Liquidbeads leaked out in a lump into my underwear (so where is the protection?) and intercourse was still painful. Replens is not so messy. Sex was better using the Replens the first two times but not so good the last time. Intercouse was so painful the last time that my husband sensed my discomfort and stopped. It made me feel so sad and old. I am at my wits end and needed to do something. Finding this site is a godsend. I went to the doctor yesterday and asked for a prescription of vaginal hormonal cream. I have been reading the post here and hope it helps me. I will be on Premarin vaginal cream which I pick up today and will start tomorrow. I was looking at my bookmarks and saw one I saved for a product called Lyriana. It's suppose to help with arousal (can always use a little of that!) and lubrication. Has anyone heard of this product or tried it? I use the warming KY jelly and love that sensation. I decided to order it because at this point in time, if it works wonderful. If not at least I tried! I don't want to continue to feel pain and wince on my husband entering me and don't want to dread sex. How patient can a husband be? Desperate people can do desperate things and I am desperate! I just want to enjoy sex like the days past. |

Hello, somewhere there is a thread on vitamin E suppositories that have helped a lot of women so you may want to do a search on that. Also estriol helps with lubrication and you can get that from a compounding pharmacy! There were some other suggestions, but I'm sorry I can''t remember them at the moment. I'm sure someone else will come ago with more suggestons.
I thoroughly understand the pain and desperation to get rid of it. Hope you get the answers that you need! Best Wishes, TJ -------------------- May We All Find Some Sort of Peace!!! Have A Beautiful Day Sisters! |

Do not laugh......but my favorite product is one called Astroglide and it does just that. You can buy it at Walmart with the fem products. I like it.
