I have been having sweats at night but just on my chest for about a month. Last night they were awful plus I was so nauseated with them. I have lost so much weight over the last six months this is just not normal.

I feel a vibration in or below the breast area. Which is constant. I feel terrible this morning , I am afraid to eat and my bowel movements have been odd the last week or so.

I do not know if all of this is hormones or something else.

How do you get the doctors to understand that you feel sick and need help.

I have been so sick for over a year now with other issues as well and I feel like I have been sent from one to another with no sign of what is wrong.

I just want this to go away....

((((((((timeless))))))))))))

I'm so sorry you're suffering. It does sound like hormones as I have a lot of the same issues and I'm 2 years without a period now. I have terrible night sweats and hot flashes. I'm so tired of all of this. I hope you feel better soon.

Hugs,
Karen

Hello T,
I am so sorry you feel so poorly. All the symptoms you describe are common amongst the ladies here. However weight loss must always be addressed. I think that there is little doubt that they are menopause related but you need to see your doctor about the weight thing. If you have access to good medical care, can I advise you to get your thyroid checked for thyroiditis. Ladies who suffer really badly at menopause often have hidden auto-immune thyroid problems.
If you do not have thyroid antibodies and no other abnormality with the thyroid is found you can just chalk it up to 'peri-hell' and keep coming here for support.

Hugs from the PS crew.

when you get this vibrating feeling do you take your bp? if you have a monitor, listen to your heartbeat for a pause or a skip, and also check your pulse, norm, of course is 60.....yet most are higher due to stress....i also have fybromialgia and with the stress of life, and meno, it came back with a vengeance.....if it isn't that, than i have another health problem yet unknown to me.
hope you feel better, sincerely.

timeless, I agree with XIII - get your thyroid checked and if it is fine then try to relax - sweats and flashes are pretty common during this mess and they can sure mess with your whole system - you may be having adrenaline surges which can cause sweating and nausea - the vibration is likely your vagus nerve acting up as a result of the nausea.

boohoo - I am pretty sure that the average heartrate is around 80 - (at least according to my DH's cardio) 60 is actually on the low side - skips, flutters and racing heart are also pretty common with flashes and sweats.

Hang in there girls,
CIC

i may have to say the old days..pulse used to be 60 bpm.....since the entire new heart saving pills arrived, yes, pulse can go from 60 bpm to 80 pmp......and this is the norm these days.....because of the pills people are placed on and they go on with this, back when.....a pulse rate was 60..new meds, you can figure that it went to 80 bpm.........not being sarcatic, yet it is really happinging these days. my mom lived way over the old days when their pulse went over 60 bpm......now we have all the drugs that keeps it tight..and frighting.
much regards..just google the facts
