I went to my Dr. on Wenesday, had my yearly exam & talked with her about hormone issues. She said that when women are feeling as bad as I described and the symptoms I listed, she normally gives them a shot of estrogen to boost there levels up. She said I would be feeling better pretty quickly. Yesterday, I cried & just felt down in the dumps. I put a patch on, but she said I wouldn't need anything else. I just didn't no what to do?I called to talk to the Dr. and she was out of the office. I'm hoping to talk to her today, to see if it is okay for me to even have the patch on. I called the pharmacy & he said that it would take a few days or longer for the shot to regulate thru my body and to kick in?

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this or has used it?
Thank you,
Amber

Dear Amber
I know a friend who has had estrogen shots on two occasions till she could get onto BHRT.She also felt bad for a day or two as the body is in shock after having been deprived of estrogen for so long.So I think your Pharmacist is right just give it a bit of time and hopefully all will be well.

Good Luck
Elizabeth
