I've read on this forum many of you have all types of itchies. I'm getting itchy boobs and I"ve had them before at times and especially when I was pregnant. I use low dose bi-est so I'm wondering why. Although even using .75m Estradiol and at other times 1.25 of the bi-est my estradiol goes all crazy from way up high to way down low 27 so I'm not sure if cream/gels really work that well, especially now. I've put on my dose and I'm itching all day.

Anyone get it in this area?

I have had itchy boobs on and off for the past 2 months, even had a bout of it yesterday which is unusual cos it usually only comes on in the week before my period is due and I've just finished my period.

Are you using Progesterone too, I reckon it's progesterone that may contribute to it more than estrogen as when I get really stressed and anxious I think my progesterone levels go up probably from too much cortisol as a response to the stress mechanism as I feel nutso like I did when I used progesterone cream which started all this crazy stuff for me 3 yrs ago.

Just a thought but I can sympathise with the itchies as they drive me mad as it's not a good look hand down bra scratching away laugh.gif

I can't figure it either. I think I had a period, at least a two day spotting thing and I recall being a little itchy before that. I use Prometrium for 14 days a month so not on that right now just a very small dose of Estradiol. Also I have a killer headache but not the usual left sided migraine I usually get once a month, it's different. The itching stopped mostly after a few hours, today it started a little bit, but not as bad as yesterday.

I figure its the fluctuating hormones for sure even though I'm supplementing I think it still jumps around. I've had 3 blood tests looking at the estradiol over 3 months, one time it was 617, then 200 something, then way back down to 27. And I've been using the same dose every day, so how is it that the levels aren't become more stable?

Dr. Vliet says she tests everyone and when their estradiol gets to over 100 and under 200 I think, she keeps them at the dose that is stabilizing that level. Well mine keeps going up, then down, so I'm not sure why. So I think the itchies are for sure the estrogen going dopey again, but it's so annoying. Nothing helps it either. sad.gif

I hate my 40's.

Dear'corky21'
Have experienced itchieness in a variety of weird and wonderful places but never in my breasts. However,I have heard that yeast infections can occur in the nipple area due to fluctuating hormones so maybe a visit to the Doctor for a soothing solution maybe an idea.

My scalp was the centre of the ,crawlies, convinced I had lice.Got my daughter to check with a fine tooth comb.Nothing!

Wish you well and please keep us posted.
