Hello everybody!

I recently joined the menopause club 2 yrs. ago after having a hysterectomy. I am just now having symptoms though.

I was wondering if you could describe how your hot flashes are? I have been only getting 3 or less a week. I suddenly feel a rush of heat from the chest/neck area on up and it passes quickly. The weird thing is how I feel afterwards..I then after it is over (but not always) feel lightheaded and nauseated like I'm going to throw up. It lasts a little while and is gone again. huh.gif

Also..........do you get really cold afterwards sometimes? I'm at times shivering with cold after all this...then it all goes back to normal until the next hot flash comes. I cannot imagine you poor women who have many hotflashes a day and this happens after....wow you poor dears!

Thank you for your replies.
Hugs
C.

Welcome! Yes, I get exactly what you're describing at times. My hot flashes are more from my waist up but I often get nauseous right afterward and also very cold, with shivers and goosebumps. It's crazy! You're not alone. Hang in there, kathleent

Thankfully I don't often get the nausea, but I do get other stuff - like the cold shivery goosebump thing and just recently lightheaded and dizzy. Plus my inner vibrations always REV up.

I am positive this all has to do with whatever hormone we are getting too much or not enough of

Have a great day and hang in there, too smile.gif
