Burning from vaginal area to rectal area, ANYONE Options

Hi everyone, I'm 65 and have had for three months now atrophic vaginitis...severe stage. Tried Premarin cream twice and both occasions made me very nauseous. I am now going to start another estrogen...made by a compounding pharmacy.. estriol (5%) with testostrone (5)...the test. is for healing the inside of my vagina, I'm told. When I started with the Premarin cream I only inserted 1/2 a gram (1 gram was the prescribed dosage) and I was soooo nauseous and sick the whole next day. Then a few days later I tried 1/4 gram on the outside on the libia and it made me sick too. So...now I'm to use this new compounded estrogen tonite. Of course I'm a bit scared. Suppose to insert vaginally 1 gram. Oh, by the way, Estriol is the weakest of the three estrogens...not suppose to have as much side effects as the other two. Tonite I think I'll just apply 1/4 outside and see my body's reaction. Beings my whole body is very dry due to estrogen loss...it will probably seep easily into my blood stream. Usually with a normal moisterized body...it would stay in my vagina.

I was wonder if there are any women who are using estriol cream and what were there experiences with it?? Oh, I live in the US.

First. let me say GOOD GOD, AM I GOING TO SUFFER UNTIL AND AFTER 65?????? Then, let me say that the pills and patches make me nauseated and throw up too. The doctor told me it was because I was still estrogenated and I was overdosing self. (50 and Regular as clockwork) I totally agree with working UP to it with a little on the outside and see how it goes. I know I am sick to death of each product causing a new problem
