Hey lindy:
Try to calm down and take a deep breath. Now ask yourself if you have changed anything recently such as detergent, soap, lotion? Have you tried something new to you? Are you extremely stressed out about something? A few years ago, I had a horrible rash on the insides of my arms and legs. OMG! I thought I would tear my skin off. It would start itching and then I woudl scratch and these ugly white lumps would come up and itch even more! It got so bad that I would lay spread-eagle on the bed and cry my eyes out. I went to the doctor and we went through all the questions I asked you. BTW, I had been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder with Depression and Panic Attacks a couple of years before that by the same doctor. Anyway, she determined that I was suffering from extreme anxiety over some things that were happening in my life. It was also an extremely hot summer for us that year, over 100 degrees every day for over 80 days. But anyway, I followed her directions and it helped me get passed it. I started showering every other day with luke warm water and Dove soap. I also coated myself with St. Ives lotion for extremely dry skin twice a day. It took about two weeks but all of the rash and itchiness went away. I have continued with her directions to this day and intend to do so because even though the rash is gone and has not come back, the stress is still ever-present in my life. I only use the lotion once a day now. So please try not to get upset and talk to your doctor. I hope this helps some. Hugs to you and Happy New Year. Jeaninne -------------------- Hugs to all,

Since peri hit I have become allergic to perfume, and ones I always used. I get very red and itchy. My solution is to spray it on my clothes. Maybes that's the thing. Take benadryl to relieve it, it may make you sleepy though.
Hang in there. |
