Prolapse? Options

I have been having some hemmroid problems that have improved greatly with hydrocortisone cream, but now I feel I fullnes in my vaginal area and I can see something that doesn't look like it should be there. I feel an irritation in the area too. No discharge, bleeding, I haven't had a period in several months. Could it be a cystocele or uterine prolapse? I know I should see a doctor, but I am out of work and money is tight. Is there any other remedy but surgery? Anyone ever tried using a tampon or pessery to help? Any cream or ointment help the irritation? Thanks for ideas, this one has me scared. Hope

Sweetie i would go get it check it does sound maybe like a prolapse uterus. these days they could be a temporary pessary up there or a hysterectomy. i have a prolapsed uterus which i haven;t noticed anything sticking out of me yet but doctors just want to do hyterectomy, Isaid not tell it hanging out. lol Best of luck Terry

I have had to contend with universal prolapses since 2000 and no surgery. I have found that one's posture will help with this. Basically, stand your back to the wall - your head, shoulders, butt and ankles should be touching. Step away - imprint to your memory and that is how you should stand, walk and sit. Note a toddler's posture. We were meant to stand that way. Sucking in the tummy increases abdomninal pressure and if weak ligaments are our lot in life, guess what - prolapse city, here we come.

I have prolapses of the uterus, bladder and rectal. Don't feel it and can't see anything. Some days, heaviness, but then that is because I lifted too much or did something too much. A night's sleep and all is well. Sleeping on your tummy will allow the uterus to flip over the bladder. Bathroom duties do better when leaning forward, taking the pressure off the bladder. Little tweaks and you should be fine.
