I have had problems with bartholin cysts off and on for the past 25 years.....it's been a LONG time since i have had any problems but now i have a swollen cyst that won't go down with soaking....
I haven't had surgery in alot of years for it but i was reading that the procedure can now be done in a dr's office with just a local anesthetic????Anyone have that done? That would be much better than having to be put completely out... -------------------- *Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.* ~Leo Buscaglia~ |

Hi moonlight i had a large bartholin cyst/tumor removed in 1997 i had it done it hospital as outpatient. It was done with a spinal and it didn;t last too long. But i was doped up too lol, I just want to say after it wears off omg OUCH!!!!! get pain pills and strong ones. It felt like a match was lit under my vagina. Also get a donut to sit on it will hurt for a week or two but gets better. Anymore questions please feel free to message me. Good luck Terry
