Oh, yes. I had those. I never knew they were normal until I found this forum. No one ever talks about them as a hormonal symptom - but they are.
Mine have just about gone away. Helen |

Hi HBteach
I have been having more and more cold flashes lately. I seem to be more sensitive to the cold. I live in Toronto and it's been freezing rain and snowing here so you can imagine how difficult it is to go outside. Same thing at work my co-workers tease me because I always have a sweater close by. Believe me you are not alone! enjoy your evening Tara |

Me too. I am cold all the time. My husband is hot all the time. He leave the door open when he goes out and I slam it behind him and put two blankets on me. He says there is something wrong with me, well, DUH! Have a little sympathy man! We can't drive together b/c I want the heat on and he always turns it off. Anyway I also have a constant low body temperature too and I had my thyroid checked really good and I'm told it's normal. The endo doc said it's the other hormones out of balance. I've been on low doses of them for 4 months and still I sit here freezing. Not sure which one to increase and my doctor is of no help at all.

Add me to the list. Many times my cold flashes come before or after a hot flash, but sometimes they just occur on their own. Like right at this moment I'm having a cold flash, not sure if a hot flash is coming or not. :-)
-------------------- I wish all of you the best of luck ! Remember, whether your peri or fully menopausal, TRY BHRT FIRST ! You might be surprised at how well it relieves your symptoms and how many unexpected benefits you experience ! I feel better now at age 48 than I did at age 40 !

Anyone else? thanks!! ~L Hey bimmergal, I just posted something similar today about this weird new symptom. My hands and feet get really cold when I have it too. I feel like someone drew a large amount of blood from me. I hear that it's typical for peri/meno. Our thermostats are out of whack.......Goodie.. |
