Ah, what fun...
At work, certain parts of my building are always too hot. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, I always have my fan going at my desk. The only problem is that I need to utilize other areas of the building and it always seems these other areas are way overheated. Meantime, some of my co-workers are always complaining that they're cold. Sometimes I wonder if it is just me and my peri, but every so often I dip into the community bowl of chocolate they keep here and the chocolate is always soft--so it can't just be me, right??? Right????? Argh!! But lately it seems that any temperature extremes bother me. If it is too cold, I just can't seem to get warm. It's as if my internal temperature regulator is off. I'm already on thyroid medication and my levels are normal now, so it can't be that. Anyone have this problem? -------------------- I am Menopausa, PeriMeno Warrior Princess!

I've always been intolerant of heat, but I was always tolerant of cold. And I mean COLD, like sub zero. I seem to have lost the tolerance ! I walked to work this morning and it was like 30 degrees, and it felt like -20 to me !
-------------------- I wish all of you the best of luck ! Remember, whether your peri or fully menopausal, TRY BHRT FIRST ! You might be surprised at how well it relieves your symptoms and how many unexpected benefits you experience ! I feel better now at age 48 than I did at age 40 !

Hi Booky - and one word: YES!!! It's really hard to regulate our body temperatures ar our age. Maybe I should take a fant to work? I am re-thinking my clothing for sure otherwise great big beads of sweat pour down my back and into my eyes. OMG it is a horrible site. I look like I have malaria. Then there are other times where I feel as you do, cold? I mean you just can't win - I will tell you that for nothing!!!!

Yes! The heat is more intolerable to me than the cold.
