I have been having this embarrassing problem that I hope someone can spread some light on.
I am 50 and have missed one period but am most definiltey perimenopausal. Anyway, for the last 4 months about 1 week before my period, I have been getting like yeast under my breast (red rash and pimples) and start with vaginal soreness, redness and burning like a yeast infection. Right after my period, like day 10, everything goes away on it's own. This month, I am 4 days away and it has started again but this time I have the rash under the breasts, but I had 2 big like pimples pop up vaginally and I am swollen, red and itchy. UGH!!!!!! Anyone else had these problems? |

I have the under-breasts rashes, and sometimes in the underarms, and on the pelvic area.
The only thing that seems to help is hydrocortisone cream. I have to apply it almost daily - what a pain! JJ -------------------- The sky and sun are always there; it's the storms and clouds that come and go.

Hi Jhawley,
I can understand what you are going through as with me ive noticed that I seen to be gettint a few bouts of a yeast infection. A bit too often for my liking. Like you Ive also missed one period earlier this year. I dont get the pimples under my breasts but seen to be getting them on my chin. I used to only get a pimple a few days before my period was due now they seem to be invading my chin lol. Maybe Craz art is right is our bodys way of getting ready for Menapause. I have tried t-tree oil on my pimples and it seems to dry them out and I done need to pop them. Maybe it will work for you under your breasts? Well Good luck with things. Take care from Deb -------------------- If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything!!

Hi joliejacq,
What you described and how you get it to leave, sounds like inverse psoriasis. Its, pink or red or even tan, blotchy or sometimes oval or round shaped. Its flat, not raised and itches and/or burns. Its treated with cortisone creams or ointments. I was diagnosed with psoriasis, 2 years ago. Mine started with itching, redness and burning in the vaginal area. No gyno could find anything wrong with me. I had this on and off for almost 3 years, when finally, the psoriasis showed itself first in the groin area and areas below the waste..then it move along to other areas of the body and scalp where some comes and goes..and some sticks around. Inverse psoriasis is one type. The type that one gets in skin folds like groin, underarms, under breast and in overweight people, anywhere the skin might create a fold. I had absolutely NO idea that I had psoriasis, nor that there were several types, and it seems neither do some gynos, because they saw it..and had no idea of what it could be. I thought I would mention this..just to make you aware of it. By the way, I have seen most pictures of it, out there on the net. By looking at those, I could have never diagnosed myself, because it doesnt really look like the rash that I get. Most show this light tan rash..and its not that color, its red or pink. Anyway, you might want to look into this and maybe see a dermatologist the next time it shows up. The cortisone they give for that is a tad stronger than what one gets over the counter..and it gets rid of it in a few days. It does eventually return..but, you wont have to cream yourself up daily. I have the under-breasts rashes, and sometimes in the underarms, and on the pelvic area. The only thing that seems to help is hydrocortisone cream. I have to apply it almost daily - what a pain! JJ |

I recently found a product that I use not only for vaginal moisture when it gets uncomfortably dry during the day, but also when my husband & I have sex. On their website, LiquidGoddess.net they say their product is antifungal and helps with yeast infections. It works for me, haven't had one since I started using it 6 months ago. It will probably work on your skin rashes too. I use it as a moisturizer sometimes. Its a lubricant called Liquid Goddess, bought it on Amazon . I'm not menopausal but i am breastfeeding and have some really bad vaginal dryness. I am on my second bottle and just love it...Completely natural and safe for my little one & me of course. its absolutley the best thing I have come across…totally recommend!
