Oh brother,
I started feeling a little pinch down below today. then as the day went on, I felt a little swollen, then itchy and then burning when I went to the bathroom. I haven't had a yeast infection in so long, that I wondered what the heck this was all about. I finished a strong antibiotic a week ago for sinuses and usually have yogurt daily, but haven't in the past 5 days or so, (stupid). anyway, I ran out and stated a three day does of monistat and the burning got worse for an hour or two. I really hope it settles down soon. I think it's a little better. Good thing I started this tonight instead of taking the lets wait and see what tomorrow brings, I would have been in the er! Anyway, I am just babbling and venting. Thanks for listening. |

I certainly feel your pain and frustration. I get a yeast infection every time I have to take an antibiotic. Thankfully, most of the time, my doctor will just go ahead and order the Diflucan pill for me to take after I finish the course of antibiotics. It is much easier and less messy than the creams and suppositories, which, like you, kind of hurt and burn when I use them!
Good luck and hope you are symptom free soon! Di -------------------- If one door opens to another door closed, I hope you keep walking till you find a window...
