Hi girls........I have an odd one here!! I have an area say the size of a golf ball, on the side of my butt that keeps feeling cold/wet. I was out the other night and I kept feeling the side of my bottom thinking i had sat in some water! This is the weirdest one I've had.........I thought tremors, night flashing was odd but this takes the cake!! How can such a small area of skin feel so cold........it keeps happening as I'm writing this.
Cheers choco -------------------- Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preseved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Woo Hoo What a ride"

Well, my guess...and it IS a guess!!...is that this area is probably on a spot where there is fat, and fat tissue doesn't have as many veins and arteries as lean....so maybe this area is just a little bit hungry for blood and oxygen...giving you the sensation of coldess.
I know in the winter here, in the Great White North, if I go outside for a long time and get chilled....my buttocks will literally take HOURS to warm up, even though the rest of me has!! Usually it requires a shower or a bath to get that area back to proper body temperature. -------------------- Is there anything better than the love of a dog? Enjoy life. |

Cheers choco hi choco .... i just read this post ... and it's funny, because i get the same thing! ..lol.. i do agree with floater, it's probably that there isn't enough blood flow in that area, and also, HORMONES!!!!! -------------------- __________________

My is the feeling that the bottom of my pants legs are always wet. My legs are always chilled from this feeling. I am constantly feeling my pants to make sure they are not wet. It happens alot with Jeans. I don't feel it as much with sweetpants. Cheers choco |

This cold skin is starting to concern me. And where it's cold it is achey. Is this the beginning of arthritis? Guess I will keep using heated blankets. Is there any type of material that keeps my skin warm but doesn't make me sweat? lol
Thanks in advance. Senecaguns |

Senecaguns I have been having these cold patches for years, and have several friends who also get them They are especially in my in but, thighs, upper legs, and sometimes calfs and upper arms usually at one side. I wish I had an answer, except it does sometimes depend on what I am wearing . Sometimes if I have a cold but I sit on a cotton nightie because cold surfaces can make it worse ( anyone else experience this) I find it vey irritating. -------------------- Eliza

Hi choco Like Floater I am also an inhabitant of the great white north and can relate to have a cold derriere. There are times I find myself sitting on a heating pad to try and warm up. It starts in my butt and then travels all the way up leaving me chilled for the entire day. Try taking a hot bath it really helps. Take care Tara |

Dear Ladies
Sorry you are all feeling the cold!I have always had the coldest feet and hands.Numerous tests, nothing wrong. My husband often tries to rub warmth into them.Even in Summer have to wear bedsocks. The worst was having the sweats and my feet and hands remaining at zero ! Must say my circulation has improved a lot with regular exercise and yoga and now that I am Post Menopausal. Stay warm All the Best Elizabeth |
