Well, no doubt it's hormonal imbalance. I'd suggest discussing this with your gynecologist. There may be natural cures, but I don't know what they are.

Sorry no help.

Have you looked in the recommendations page? There is a drop down box on the top of the main PS page - click on recommendations - you might find some help to start of with - smile.gif

My story is very similar. Hysterectomy 17 years ago (at age 39) - one ovary left behind. I swore I would never go the HRT route due to all the media panic. However, after being miserable and reading Dr. Elizabeth Vleit's books, "Screaming To Be Heard", and "The Savvy Woman's Guide To Testosterone", I did a 180. She is a guest on this forum and you can get a lot of info off her website at www.herplace.com -

I had the complete hormone panel done - which is important and found that most were very deficient. The following tests are the bare essentials:

Total thyroid check which includes TSH, thyroid antibodies, and free T3-4. (low thyroid also effects libido)
Estradiol 2
Testosterone levels

I'm now on the Vivelle Dot (patch) (No more hot flashes!) and Estrace Vaginal Cream (no more peeing my pants!) I'm also on Synthroid for hypothyroidism (much more energy!) Next doctor visit we'll problably add some compounded Testosterone cream to help with the libido.

My old spark is starting to return, although not completely yet. Once I add the testosterone I think hubby better watch out! wub.gif

Good luck, and keep us posted!
