Hi Ladies I am now on my third anxiety med Cymbolta. Have any of you had success with this med. I started it friday and have felt relief from the anxiety but now have insomnia. As of today the doctor told me to start taking it in the morning. Hopefully this will help. I really don't feel any side effects other than the insomnia.

Give me some feed back ladies.

Angel I haven't tried Cymbolta but I started on Lexapro and has given me insomina so I have to take xanax to get a good nights rest. Also when I first started the meds about a week ago it made me very sleepy blink.gif . Not sure if that is one of the side effects to Cymbolta if so you may want to try to take it around 6pm. With these meds they are a hit or miss until it levels into your body.

Good Luck keep us posted.

I started taking the Cymbolta in the moring and it seems to give me more energy. Actually I feel really good. I hope it last. I need some relief. As for the Lexapro that did nothing for me, just make me feel unresponsive. My Dr. said that Cymbolta is in a different class than Lex and Zoloft. It works on a different part of the brain. For me it seem to be working. I just want to feel myself again.
