Question of the Day

Q: What causes your blood to thin out?

A: This question is extraordinarily complex.

Thinning blood usually refers to using drugs or natural substances to work against blood clotting. There is a cascade of chemistry that is triggered to cause blood to clot and this process involves blood cells and proteins. Two natural ways to thin blood are interfering with blood clotting proteins or interference with platelets.

You may wish to read my book "Natural Ways to a Healthy Heart", M. Evans Publishers, available at 1-877-765-1099 or www.naturesbenefit.com.

Thank you for your question.
